An Endless Passion for Music
Tom is from Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. He graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in 2015 with a 1st class BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. He is currently rehearsing for Banquo in the new musical ‘Lady M’ premiering in Shanghai, China whilst playing Thomas Ledbury in ‘Coram Boy’, a play at Chichester Festival Theatre. He has recently appeared on the live semi-finals of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ with “Welsh of the West End” as well as BBC’s ‘I Can See Your Voice’.
Theatre credits include: covering and playing Chris in Miss Saigon (International Tour); Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK tour); Jack in The Dreamers (Abbey Road Studios); Policeman in CinderELLA (NST); Matt in Bare: A Pop Opera (The Vaults) and Chuck in the actor-musician production of Footloose (UK tour). Tom has also toured nationally with Classical Brit Award winners Only Men Aloud (UK tour) and featured in Bryn at 50 (Royal Albert Hall).
His Voice credits include: BBC; Radio Cymru; Only Men Aloud, Sky 1 & MTVirtual. He has a strong Welsh voice and has a relatable, versatile & youthful tone. He voices a wide range of characters for video games and animation, demonstrated in his Animation montage. He’s a highly-skilled singer and is a competent musician with experience in composing original songs and jingles for a variety of projects.
His Television & Audio credits include: S2 of BBC’s ‘I Can See Your Voice’; Britain’s Got Talent with ‘Welsh of the West End’; ‘Brotherhood’ commercial aired on Sky Sports; Stella (Tidy Productions, Sky 1); tracks Go Tell It On The Mountain & Amazing Grace on Favourites: Only Men Aloud(Album); The Ashes Opening Ceremony (Sky Sports) & featured artist On The Road, Only Men Aloud (Album).
Workshop credits include: Lady M; Club Moscow; Tiger Bay The Musical; The Boy Next Door and The Devil’s Advocate. Credits whilst training: Busker in Lift; Kester in The Other School; Riff in West Side Story; Bill in Me and My Girl and Leontes in A Winter’s Tale.
Tom is a competent musician; Grade 8 piano, self taught guitarist and runs a successful coaching business focused on training drama school applicants. He is also associate faculty at both the Guildford School of Acting & Italia Conti where he regularly lectures.
